Every product has a story. At Fragmenti, we believe that what you wear should carry more than just fabric — it should carry a moment, a memory, and a little piece of our world. That’s why we want to share the journey of how one of our pieces comes to life.

This isn’t just production. It’s a diary.

The Spark

It starts with a word, a phrase, or a mood. Sometimes it’s a line we overhear on the street — “samo lagano”. Other times it’s the color of the sea at 6pm, or the texture of stone steps in Herceg Novi. We sit down with sketchbooks, and slowly, an idea starts to take shape.

The First Sketch

On paper, the idea is raw — imperfect lines, notes scribbled in the margins. But this is where personality enters. We’re not just drawing a hoodie or a tote bag; we’re sketching a feeling we want someone to carry with them.

Fabric Hunting

Next comes the hunt. We touch, stretch, and feel countless fabrics. They need to be durable enough for real life, soft enough for everyday comfort, and timeless enough to last. If it doesn’t pass the would we wear this every day? test — it doesn’t make the cut.

Sampling & Adjusting

The first sample is exciting… and humbling. Sometimes the proportions aren’t right. Sometimes the print doesn’t “sit” the way we imagined. But this is part of the process — we tweak, adjust, and bring it closer to the vision.

Production

Once it feels just right, it’s time to make it real. Our production partners bring the sketches and samples to life, piece by piece. It’s the moment when an idea officially becomes a product.

Arrival to the Boutique

Finally, the piece travels to our boutique — ready to meet the people it was made for. This is our favorite part: watching someone pick it up, try it on, and smile because it feels like theirs.
